Why we started this site?

Earthy, with a hint of pepper! Notes of earthy tones! Blah, Blah, Blah!!

This site is dedicated to all the cigar smokers that came before us. Our grandfather and father were huge cigar smokers and always smoked the "bargains". Premium cigars of today would not have been the usual in their humidors. We have been smoking for over 60 years combined and in the past few months started to really dive into true conversations about certain "go-to" sticks in our humidors. This led us to the conversation of bringing these topics to everyone. We read all the reviews by the experts and try to figure out the true tastes, looks, burns for ourselves. In all of our conversations what really mattered was whether we liked the smoking experience or we did not! We never once said, "if started off with an earthy, peppery taste, and a lemony aroma, then led to hints of vanilla and spice" blah, blah, blah. Our conversations were always, "That is a damn good smoke. Burned great and never got to harsh" or "not worth the $12, if it was $5 maybe I'd buy again". That's it. Should I continue to buy this or not? Was it worth the money? Was it worth the hour or not? Your experience is different than ours. Tastes are different for every smoker. Our opinions are ours, yours are yours.

We will try to post at least once per week. Each post will be fun in nature and meant to be real world. No pepper, earth, vanilla or bull crap. No paid posts or reviews. Real world opinions and all cigars discussed are purchased from local cigar shops or random online retailers. If a cigar company wants to send us samples, we'll take them but we can guarantee we'll be brutally honest and let people know they were sent to us. We love hearing from everyone. Have a favorite cigar shop, tell the owner to contact us and we'll give them some free press to our visitors, maybe millions some day 😊
