Bargain stick, great looking, but is it worth it?
Mark's thoughts:
I saw this stick in a local shop and it just caught my eye, looked nice and was a pretty low price, like $4. I just thought what the heck do I grabbed a couple and threw them in my humidor. They sat in there for like 4 or 5 months and finally I lit one up.
It was a decent smoke for that price, not much more. I wasn't blown away but for $4 it was worth it. JC Newman has a long history in the cigar world and this is a good attempt at a hand rolled brand. Now I mention getting pissed off when you give someone a good cigar and they only smoke half and you end up pitching it. This would be a super premium to those friends.
My Final Thought- "Harder to find economical hand made good that's a decent stick to keep for those friends who would think it's an upscale Rocky, My Father, you know what I mean!"
