Montecristo No. 2 Torpedo

Our first guest reviewer - our friend (and casual cigar smoker) Eric gives his thoughts on one of our many humidor staples.

Eric's point of view:

As a casual cigar smoker I leave the recommendations to Chuck. I like cigars more on the mild side but that have some flavor and this one fit's the bill. As far as worth the price - well you can't beat free... but I'm told they run around $14. That seems a bit steep to me but if you can grab one for around $8-$10 I'd say go for it.

My Final Thought - "I've tried a lot of his cigars over the year's and I have to say this was one of my favorites."

Chuck's opinion:

I've always liked these cigars but the first batch I ever bought was a sweet deal at Slippery Rock Cigars (Slippery Rock, PA) - so it wasn't until I went to buy more that I realized these were on the more expensive side. I usually hold out to get them around 10 bucks a stick.

My Final Thought- "Love the flavor - smooth but has a bite. Perfectly paired with your favorite whiskey (well what cigar isn't? lol)."
