So, back in the day I thought Zippo lighters were so awesome! You see them in movies or TV shows and whoever reached for a light looked so darn cool! Well for all of us cigar smokers they are terrible if used
with the normal everyday fuel. DO NOT LIGHT A CIGAR WITH A ZIPPO FUEL LIGHTER. You will taste and smell the burning fuel for almost the entire smoke. It changes the flavor of every cigar.
BUT....
Buy the butane torch insert for your Zippo. They can be found online for about $15 a piece. Well worth it. I bought one about two years ago and unlike many butane lighters it still works today. I use it all the time.
As you'll see these are the two Zippos I use the most. I have others but not all of them have the butane insert. The ones without don't get used much since I don't really do much that needs lit, other than smoke cigars.
