Henry Clay War Hawk Toro

Henry Clay is typically a pretty mellow Connecticut wrapper but...

Mark’s thoughts: The War Hawk is totally different with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper that has a bit of a bite the entire smoke. It was one of CA’s Top 25 cigars in 2020 and deserves to be there in my opinion. I used to smoke Henry Clay’s back in the day but totally forgot about them the past 15 or so years until I read about this launch in 2019.

This War Hawk had an almost perfect burn the whole time and was a pleasant surprise based on their “mellow” reputation. Not to strong, but unique and a surprising spicy bite. I paid about $7 and would pay MSRP of around $9 any time. This was great at $7 any day of the week.

Mark’s Final Thought - Well worth the price and a must try for anyone. This will be a main stay in my humidor from now on, no doubt!”
