Cigars with the coolest names

In coming up with this list each cigar has to be worth smoking. We’ve smoked many oddball named cigars that we wish were good but just a marketing tool or really an oddball smoke. Come up with a great name and people will buy it. Well, that makes sense but the product has to be worth it to actually let the brand last (sales!). Here’s some great cigars with really cool brand names that are well worth trying. We'd love to here some of your choices in the comments below.

Gurkha War Pig

Now Gurkha could of had a few on this list because all of their brands have the craziest names around. I’d love to sit in a branding meeting when they discuss names. War Pig is one of my favorite Gurkha smokes so I had to list it. The smoke is consistent, with a really nice spice, but not extremely heavy. Good price but also not one of their brands you’d typically find at your local cigar shop. Well worth trying. Read full review here!

Asylum Insidious

Economically priced brand that never really gets much love in the cigar magazines or shelf space at the cigar shops. They also have some cool names but many are bundled lower level smokes. Insidious is a cigar that is definitely not lower level. It’s a well constructed, extremely smooth smoke. Mellow to medium bite with great flavor and burns extremely well. I’ve started to see them in some local shops so give it a try.

Deadwood Fat Bottom Betty

Ok, now we’d have to have Drew Estate on this list but I could of listed a bunch. The Deadwood line is full of crazy names, cool ass bands and all good smokes. Fat Bottom Betty is a concoction of flavors that really works. I’ve made it a staple in my humidor and pull one when I want something different.

Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper

The first thing I thought of when I finally smoked this was they should of had Rick Moranis from Ghostbusters on the label. (Remember he was the possessed hilarious Gatekeeper!). I just really like this name, oh and the smoke too. Great smoking experience all the way around. Flavor is fantastic, consistent draw, burn and worth the price. Most local shops should carry this so grab some and let us know your thoughts.
